~ Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults ~

"Are you thinking of becoming Catholic, or do you know someone who is?  The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, or “RCIA”, is the process by which adults come into full communion with the Catholic Church.  If you feel God is calling you to this conversion of heart, please join us on this journey to a closer relationship with God and His Church.  Weekly formation classes* are scheduled to begin in October and will run through Lent.  Sacraments will be received at the Easter Vigil Mass to be held on Holy Saturday 2021.
Adult Confirmation classes* will also begin in October for anyone 18 or older, who has not received this sacrament and would like to.  Through Confirmation, the Holy Spirit strengthens the graces we received at Baptism bringing us closer to Christ and better preparing us to face the daily challenges of Christian life.  This eight-week preparation will enable the candidate to receive the sacrament of Confirmation in Spring 2021.

A "Meet and Greet" will be held on Sunday, September 27th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Barnabas (44 Washington Avenue/North Haven), in the church basement.  We will be social distancing, and you will need to wear a mask. You may call Lisa Bilodeau at (203) 288-4818 with any questions.

*Please note:  a $50.00 registration fee is required for all candidates for either of these formation classes, payable to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish, at the first class session."
