A Message from Miss. Patsy
I pray that your family members are doing well and that you are all healthy. Dealing with the coronavirus pandemic has forced us into a very challenging time that most of us were unprepared for as individuals, families and as a church community.
This has changed our lives and we no longer can count on our usual daily routines. Though we feel the discomfort and pains that dealing with the impacts of the disease have caused, we cannot be broken in the spirit. Let us continue to keep strong and be united in prayer that together with the grace of God we can continue our journey of faith.
Unfortunately we did have to end our classes two weeks earlier than scheduled this year. I am sorry that this did not give us an opportunity to say goodbye to one another and wish each other a Happy Easter.
You can visit The Archdiocese of Hartford’s website under ministries it will list Education, clink on Office of Education, Evangelization & Catechesis (external) it will take you to an extensive library of at-home and online resources...and distance learning for teachers and catechists , too!
We have started a Facebook group called St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Faith Formation; please feel free to ask to join the group. All our religious education information is posted on this group page.
Please be assured that you are remembered in our pastor Fr. Santiago and Fr. Joe’s prayers daily and please keep them in your prayers too. We will get through this together as continue the work of our Lord each day.
I am praying for God’s healing grace to be a powerful force for healing and unity in our parish community and all over the world. I miss seeing all of you. Please feel free to call or email me if you are your family are in need of anything.
God bless you, Patsy
